1. What This Policy Covers
This policy explains what personal data SiteRoster collects, why, and how it's handled, for anyone using siteroster.co.uk — contractors, employers, agencies, and visitors. SiteRoster is a self-service directory, not an employment agency; see our Terms of Service for how the platform works.
2. What We Collect
From contractors: name, email, phone number, trade and skills, town/city and county, day rate, years of experience, bio, availability status, and (optionally) how you heard about SiteRoster. From employers and agencies: work email, company name and details, and plan/billing information. From everyone: consent records (IP address, browser user agent, and terms version, logged at signup), and account activity such as contact requests and search appearances. Contractor profile information is entirely self-reported and shown to employers/agencies as described in our Terms of Service.
3. Why We Collect It
To operate the directory — creating and displaying profiles, matching search results, handling contact requests, processing subscription payments, and sending the account notifications described in our Terms of Service. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for purposes beyond running the platform.
4. Who We Share It With
We use a small number of third-party service providers to run SiteRoster: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing for Featured/employer subscriptions — SiteRoster never sees full card details), Resend (transactional email), and Plausible (privacy-focused, cookieless website analytics). Each only receives the data it needs to provide its service to us. We don't share contractor or employer data with any other third party.
5. Data Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated personal data deleted, contact us via the Contact page and we'll process the erasure — this permanently removes your profile and personal information from our systems.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, request erasure, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, get in touch via the Contact page.

8. Changes to This Policy
